Pressure Pneumatic Pumps
A pneumatic pressure pump is a portable, handoperated device used primarily to generate controlled air pressure or vacuum for testing and calibrating industrial instruments. Unlike hydraulic pumps that use oil or water, these pumps use dry air as the medium, making them cleaner and easier to use for low-to-medium pressure applications.
Typical Components
- The Pump Body The main unit with handles and internal pistons.
- High-Pressure Hose To connect the pump to the device being tested.
- Adapters Various fittings (like BSP or NPT) that allow the pump to connect to different sizes of industrial pipes and gauges.
- Master & Test Ports Two connection points so the technician can see the "known" pressure and the "measured" pressure simultaneously.
